Looking for a Spanish class this fall? We offer three different courses tailored to your level and interests.
Survival Spanish · Let’s get talking
For learners who have the basics but want more confidence using Spanish in everyday situations. Through conversation, role-play, and activities, you will build vocabulary and practice talking about everyday life—from likes and dislikes to shopping, weather, and even a simple doctor’s visit. (beginner)
Spanish in Action · Connecting the dots
For learners who already have a basic foundation and are ready to bring the pieces together. Grammar, conversation, and guided practice will help you talk about experiences, plans, and everyday situations while strengthening your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. (A2+ advanced beginner)
Cultura Viva · Raíces de Barro
For intermediate and above learners who want to deepen their Spanish while exploring Ecuadorian history and culture through ceramics. This course covers ceramic traditions from cultures including Valdivia, Chorrera, Jama-Coaque, and La Tolita, with conversation, visual materials, and hands-on work with clay. It includes a special workshop with Colombian ceramic artist Laura Vergara. (Intermediate+)
All classes are taught by Alejandra Herrera, a certified Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher with extensive international teaching experience.
