Meet Futy, a beautiful black Labrador mix with a loving and charismatic personality. He was originally a gift to the owner of a garage near my workplace, but the garage was not suitable for a playful, large-breed puppy like him.
Futy was allowed to roam the streets where he lost a leg after being hit by a car. Despite this, he adapted well to his new reality. Unfortunately, due to the insecure garage with doors often left open, he chased motorcycles and bicycles and was hit again last week by a bus. He suffered bruises all over his body and part of one pad on his front paw was torn off.
His owners initially provided inadequate veterinary care and were reluctant to give him up, but they have now agreed to put him up for adoption to a responsible family.
Futy has been taken to the vet and has no fractures. He has an arrhythmia that is controllable and does not pose a health risk. He is neutered and will receive all vaccinations and deworming treatments. His missing leg does not limit him as he moves around well.
We are seeking a safe, enclosed space and a loving family to give Futy the home he deserves, away from danger and neglect.
If you can offer Futy a safe and loving home, please contact Lili Morocho via WhatsApp at 098 963 4676. Photos of Futy are available upon request.
Thank you for helping change Futy’s life.
