Storytelling is a time-honored tradition. Long before books, screens, or written language, people gathered to share experiences and make sense of the world through stories.
StoryJam is part of that ongoing tradition!
This month, we will explore the topic of “Mentors” — the people who guide us, challenge us, teach us, inspire us, or simply show up at the right moment.
Our invited storyteller is LaRahna Hughes, a retired farmer, interfaith minister, writer, storyteller, and community builder who has made Cuenca her home since 2022. Her life has taken her down many unexpected paths, and she has a particular talent for finding the stories, connections, and meaning in ordinary life.
