Hello, my name is Alex Arregui.
I am a Marine Biologist, former Charles Darwin Researcher, and Galápagos National Park Certified Naturalist Guide. I hold a British Master’s degree in Eco-Tourism and Business Administration from the University of Birmingham.
With over 30 years of experience in tourism and guiding in the Galápagos, these islands are more than my workplace—they are my home.
I specialize in organizing personalized land-based trips tailored to each traveler’s interests, whether it is seeing giant tortoises and sea lions, snorkeling with penguins and turtles, hiking volcanoes, photography, learning about the islands’ natural history, or simply enjoying the islands at a relaxed pace.
I assist with accommodation, ferries, transfers, day tours, and activities on Santa Cruz, Isabela, San Cristóbal, and Floreana islands. Whenever possible, I personally guide my guests.
My goal is for you to truly experience the Galápagos, not just visit it.
If you are planning a trip, please send me a message with your travel dates, number of travelers, and interests. I will be happy to answer your questions and help create a trip just right for you.
Galápagos is my home. Let me show you my Galápagos.
