Cuenca S.T.R.U.M. (Senior Totally Relaxed Ukulele Musicians) meet weekly at Flora Cafe, every Tuesday from 12:30 to 2 PM. No need to play by ear or memory. We use a tune book and a selection of songs are sent out digitally the week before. We also have a loaner version for visitors. Show up and play with us. We’ll get your contact info and go from there. Most weeks we play indoors in a dedicated room. About once a month we play under cover on the patio.
You can show up an hour early and enjoy a delicious lunch at Flora Cafe. If traveling to Flora Cafe by foot, it’s a beautiful relaxing walk along the Yanuncay River.
We are not a teaching group, but a relaxed, friendly helpful group that are looking for new players. We are not a band, nor a performance group. Just ukulele players that enjoy playing music together and meeting new friends. We play in GCEA. If your ukulele is a different tuning, you will do the transposing on your own. All tab is written for GCEA.
