The Canadian Kitchen is back this month of July with a special Canada themed menu to celebrate Canada Day (July 1st).

– Tourtière (French Canadian holiday beef pie filling with mashed potato)

– Frozen Cabbage Rolls –
Two fillings to choose from:
– Ground pork and bacon blend
– Ground beef
Baked in a tangy, buttery tomato sauce with garlic and onions. 6 for $10 (they are quite large, most people eat two or three for a meal)
Also offering:
– Artisanal gingerale Syrup
500ml bottle for $6.50 (1 bottle has enough to make 4 to 5 gingerales and/or cocktails, depending on how concentrated you like your drink). Recipes provided. Inspired by the Artisanal gingerale at the Banff Springs Hotel.
– Nanaimo Bar Cheesecake Squares
A cheesecake version of the classic Canadian dessert: a base of gooey coconut chocolate crumble, a middle layer of vanilla custard cheesecake, topped with chocolate ganache.
$3 per square.
– Homemade Sour Cream
200ml container (enough for several servings) $3.50.
Deliveries are being scheduled for Friday, July 10th and Sunday, July 12th in the morning or afternoon. Pick up is available from Remigio Romero and Lorenzo Piedra cross streets on July 11th from 10 AM to 1 PM.
