My watch battery died – again. I had previously visited Edison 2 years ago because a watch repair person who didn’t have the right battery had recommended him. I returned to his office for the replacement battery today – Edison speaks English quite fluently. He looked at the watch and replaced the battery. He has a variety of batteries available. He also repairs cameras, cell phones, TVs, laptops.
His office is off Hermano Miguel in a passageway – and less than a block from the Tranvia. Get off in front of the big, downtown IESS office, turn left from the Tranvia (if going east (downhill)). Cross Hermano Miguel street, turn left, cross the street and walk 3/4 of a block, turn right into a passageway. He’s on the left. Coming back, you leave his office by going back to Hermano Miguel, turn right, walk 100 feet (maybe) and find the Tranvia line. The Tranvia stop is to your left about a block away.
