Are you a basso profondo, baritono, or perhaps a tenore leggero? Cuenca Community Chorus is seeking treble clef singers to participate in Rutter’s Requiem, which will be performed alongside the Orquesta Filarmónica on May 14 and 16 at Iglesia La Merced. Rehearsals are scheduled for Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, and parts are reviewed on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
A requiem is a solemn musical tribute honoring those who have passed away. John Rutter’s composition is distinguished by gentle, lyrical melodies and lush harmonies to comfort and uplift individuals coping with loss. If you are interested in performing in an intimate setting with harp, cello, organ, flute, timpani, and more, we invite you to join our ensemble.
