Dear Expat Community,
March is tax month in Ecuador. If during 2025 you earned more than $12,081 per year (about $1,006.70 per month), you are required to file your personal income tax return (Impuesto a la Renta) with the SRI—even if after deductions you end up owing $0.
This applies if you had income such as:
• Salary / employment income
• Professional services / independent work
• Commissions
• Insurance-related income ( policies )
• Interest income (for example: CD/Certificate of Deposit interest)
• Other taxable income in Ecuador
Most of you already know me and trust me because I work in the financial sector and I’m used to handling sensitive information professionally. I’m here to make this process simple, correct, and stress-free.
What I can do for you:
Confirm if you are required to file
Prepare and submit your SRI income tax return
Help you organize supporting documents and deductions (when applicable)
If you don’t have SRI access set up, I can guide you through the process and, if needed, accompany you to the SRI to obtain your access and documentation
How to get started:
Just contact me by WhatsApp or email and we’ll coordinate. To start the process, you can send me:
• Your cédula number
• Your SRI access (password), or if you don’t have it, I can help you obtain it and gather the required documentation.
