Many of you know Alex, the street vendor who works on the corner of Ordoñez Lasso and Las Americas as you walk up to Supermaxi Las Americas.
Alex is preparing to go back to Venezuela to visit his parents and have some necessary medical issues resolved; including an adjustment to his prosthesis – something that he cannot afford to do in Cuenca.
Alex humbly thanks all who have helped him in the past, buying little things on the street or donating to his needs.
He says, “With humility, I kindly ask for financial help to travel to Venezuela in February to reunite with my parents. Any contribution will be used for travel tickets and basic expenses.
I sincerely thank you for all the support and kindness received in 2025. Thank you for your help.”
