Newcomer’s Luncheon

The Newcomer’s Luncheon will be today at noon – 2 PM, February 2 at Common Grounds. A great special menu will be available for $7, including iced tea or cola.
Options:
1. Fish sandwich with French Fries
2. Beef patty over mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetables
3. Vegetarian lasagna with salad
This is an excellent opportunity to meet new people as well as find out what is going on in our community. There will be various organizations/individuals to share with you the many options available for entertainment, activities, hobbies, volunteer work, etc. Come meet and greet folks that have lived in Cuenca for 8 years as well as folks that have lived in Cuenca for 8 days!

Harry Watkins, Board President of Cuenca Care Foundation will be speaking about the Cuenca Care Foundation. This is an organization to help us all out in times of need. It is not an insurance company, but a health assistance organization. For example, if you are recovering from surgery or an accident at home. They can assist you with these services. They offer an abundance of different services. We, or at least, I, will probably need these services someday. Come hear about it Monday! He works with Dr. Maite Depreeuw who is on Board.
