Our First Concert of the Year at IdiomARTE
Invites you into the expressive world of Dúo Cambalache, an intimate encounter with the musical landscapes of Argentina.
In a delicate dialogue between piano and flute, Dúo Cambalache brings tango, milonga, chacarera, and zamba to life… not just as genres, but as a living experience. Their music moves with quiet intensity, bridging the city’s pulse and the soul of rural traditions in a contemporary, attentive voice.
Dúo Cambalache is formed by Ecuadorian flautist, Tatiana Dumas of the Cuenca Symphony, and Argentine pianist and composer Germán Coppola. Together, they create a shared musical language shaped by nuance, precision, and a profound sense of place. Each piece becomes a moment to listen closely, to notice detail, and to inhabit sound.
