First, we want to say thank you all for your emotional support these past weeks.
As many of you already know, the property where La Yunta is located has been sold, and the new owner wants to increase the rent to $5000, which is impossible for us to pay.
We need to find a new location or possibly close our doors; we are unsure of what we will do yet.
For now, we ask you to keep your eyes open in case you see a property that could be suitable for us. If you want to support our shop and the artisans behind each product, please do so. We need to decrease our inventory as much as possible.
As of now, we can remain open until March 31. I truly hope to find a new home for La Yunta.
