Hi, I’m Sunshine.

I’m a little orange girl with a soft soul and a big heart. Being a female ginger makes me a bit rare, and being a rescue makes my story even more special. Once upon a time, I had calicivirus — it’s part of my past now, and I’m completely healthy, ready to live a long, happy life filled with love.

Because of that chapter in my life, there is one very important rule for my future: I must be an only cat. Calicivirus is highly contagious, so for everyone’s wellbeing, I can’t share my home with other kitties. Dogs are just fine, though — and humans who love deeply are my favorite.

I’m looking for my forever home in Cuenca, Ecuador, and I can be taken anywhere in the city if it means finding the right place. What I need most is tenderness, stability, and lots of love — the kind that makes a home feel safe and warm. In return, I’ll give you gentle company, quiet purrs, and all the affection my little orange heart can hold.
