Gentle. Resilient. Full of love.
At 8 years old, Daphne was abandoned on the streets simply because she became ill. She lives with Cushing’s disease, a condition that requires daily medication—but it has never taken away her sweetness, her calm spirit, or her deep capacity to love.
Wrapped in her cozy sweater, Daphne is affectionate, medium-sized, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. She deserves comfort, dignity, and a peaceful life.
Right Now, Daphne’s Story Can Go Twice as Far
Through December 31st, every donation to the Fundacion FAAN is DOUBLED, thanks to a generous matching grant from an animal-loving family here in Cuenca.
That means food becomes two meals, medicine becomes two lifelines, and hope reaches twice as many dogs like Daphne.
GringoPost Friends, Animal Rescue Is Not for the Weak of Heart!
Nor is the mission of our dedicated volunteers working to build Ecuador’s first modern Superdogs Sanctuary—a safe, humane haven for healing and adoption of Cuenca’s most vulnerable dogs.
As 2025 comes to a close, consider adopting Daphne or another one of our amazing FAAN Superdogs and giving the gift of a loving home and a second chance.
Become a FAAN Superdog Godparent and help sustain the 120 dogs in our care with support for food and medical costs.
Be Part of the Miracle — Double Your Impact Before Dec 31! Thanks to many of you who have already taken advantage of this very special matching grant.
