Discover the power of storytelling through fabric! In this creative workshop, participants will learn the traditional South American art of arpilleras — colorful, hand-sewn textile scenes that reflect emotions, memories, and the rich identity of the Andean culture.
Throughout five guided sessions, you’ll explore design, fabric selection, hand-stitching techniques, and creative expression while crafting your own unique arpillera. No prior experience is required — just bring your imagination and an open heart.
This workshop is organized in benefit of the “Haciendo Panas” Foundation, a local organization that supports migrants and refugees in Cuenca.
