We want to invite you to a preview of project ConMueve (in English it translates as “to be moved with, to be moved by”), the first project of ConMueve Cultural Foundation! We’ve gathered 7 visual artists from Cuenca and professionals of 6 different styles of movement as a way to explore the variety of human movement, feeling, art, and perspectives. The artists have been working at it since June this year and you will be the very first to see the works of art they’ve created about our contemporary dance model, Carlos Delgado. After dinner, Carlos will perform the dance solo he created for ConMueve, the same performance the artists based their work on.
We’ll also tell you a bit about our vision for the foundation, not only for this artistic project but our plans for a cultural library and the way we want to interweave art with reading. If you love books and the arts, our seedling foundation will move you!
This event is a fundraising dinner at La Guarida. Part of the cost is for your dinner, a 3 course vegan meal, and the rest is a donation to our project. Since space is limited, reservations are required! You can make reservations directly with La Guarida at 0998068071.
