Two of our favorite ceramic artists, Holly Deckard and Candy Sugarman, are joining forces for a workshop that’s truly on fire! This workshop combines hand building with the dramatic excitement of raku firing.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll:
• Create one musical rattle and one kurinuki vessel (Japanese style hand building)
• Fire both pieces in a raku kiln, watching your creations transform before your eyes
Workshop Schedule:
• Hand building: Dec. 2 and 4 | 1:30 – 4:30 PM (at idiomARTE)
• Firing: Dec. 12 | 9 AM – 4 PM (at Holly’s studio)
