The Holiday season is here, and King Smokehouse wants you to entertain with ease. Every week he will feature a special appetizer chosen with care to provide you with maximum flavor with minimum effort. After all, entertaining is about having fun not working hard.
We start this Holiday Season off with a tried-and-true favorite that is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Easy Cheesy Sausage Balls:
1) One pound of King Smokehouse Ooey Gooey Melty Cheese shredded
2) One pound of any of King Smokehouses’ Scrumptious Sausage (chicken, mild, spicy, or Italian)
3) Three cups of Mountain Home Gourmet Biscuit mix
With a mixer or your hands, mix the cheese and sausage then add the biscuit mix and mix thoroughly. Shape into one-inch balls. And now the easy part: Bake at 350F/175C (toaster oven or air fryer both work great) for about 15 minutes until lightly browned. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce(s). Or freeze uncooked balls on a sheet pan and then pop into a plastic bag. When you are ready just take out the number you want to serve, bake and enjoy!
