Hi animal-loving friends. Posting the latest update on the new shelter from FAAN’s President, José Gómez, and Fundacion FAAN. See the public link below.
This time last year, the foundation raised enough funds to purchase permanent land in Tarqui for the new shelter. There is of course lots more work to be done with actual construction and immense gratitude for each individual and animal welfare organization in Cuenca making a difference!
Thank you Jose Gomez for your endless dedication to Cuenca’s homeless and abused animals. If you are interested in volunteering with Fundacion FAAN or Perros de Esperanza, supporting fostering, or adopting a dog, We will be at the Common Grounds Newcomers Luncheon on Monday, October 7th. We can hook you up with Cuenca’s animal-loving community of FAAN-ATICS. If you are interested in adopting or fostering a dog, please don’t wait. Visit us at FAANEcuador.org or reach out. There are so many amazing pups who are dreaming of their forever home and while we so need the rain, it is tough on our homeless doggies who would love to curl up with you when the lights go out.
