For anyone who loves authentic Chinese food, I would highly recommend Delicias Chinas in El Centro located right by Hermano Miguel and Calle Larga. Ever since we learned about it from a Facebook post by a Chinese American friend a month ago, we have been going there about twice a week to quench our thirst for authentic Chinese food.
Having traveled to Asia many times on business before my retirement, I can tell that this “little hole in the wall” place offers authentic Chinese food, unlike many Chifa places in town.
My favorite dishes are General Tsao’s chicken and twice-cooked pork. They also hand-make dumplings which I have both as dine-in appetizer but also bought frozen ones to take home as a very easy meal. The place also offers takeout and delivery. I have found their prices to be very reasonable.
