I highly recommend Dr. Andres Astudillo Cordova at Clinica Latino in Cuenca who is a general surgeon with specialties in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Astudillo is a very experienced surgeon (for example, he has performed hundreds of inguinal hernia surgeries), speaks excellent English (his children are American citizens), and was mostly trained in the US. This doctor is simply top notch.
