COLLOGRAPHY PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP with Daniel Williams

Jan. 26, 27, 28 | 2 – 4:30 PM

In this 3-day hands-on workshop, you’ll:

* Transform everyday materials into textured prints

* Learn how surface, composition and inking shape your image

* Experiment, play, and discover through guided demos and printing sessions

No experience needed—all materials included. By the end, you’ll take home a finished printing block, multiple original prints, and a solid foundation in experimental printmaking.

We’ll start the night with a warm-up session to brush up your steps and shake off the nerves… then let the milonga take over!

Whether you’re dancing or just enjoying the atmosphere, you’ll experience the magic of tango, the warmth of our community, and a menu of special wines and delicious snacks that make the night even sweeter.

MEXICAN FOLKTALES: THEATRICAL STORYTELLING PERFORMANCE

Saturday, Jan. 31 | 6 PM (doors open) | 7 PM (event begins)

Join Mexican actress, Paloma Sosa Alvear, for an evening of magical storytelling from Mexico’s oral traditions. Meet unforgettable characters like Pancho López, the man who wanted to be a vulture, and Godmother Death, among others.

Stories are performed in Spanish (with written English synopses available), so besides enjoying a fun night of theatre, it’s a great way to strengthen your Spanish listening skills too!
