I thought I would be able to outlive my dog, but as things stand now I’m either not going to or not going to want to. My pain is getting in the way of being able to fully care for him.
Harry, a standard wire-haired dachshund, turned 10 in October. He is still strong of heart and back. He is one of the sweetest Velcro dogs you will ever meet. Sure, he’s spoiled, but barking is not one of his bad habits.
I would like to find someone who would consider co-parenting him now and eventually adopting him for his remaining years.
