Survival Spanish: Let’s get talking

You know how to introduce yourself. You’ve picked up some basic words and phrases. Maybe you can put together a simple sentence or two. But when you want to say much more than that… things get tricky.

Let’s Get Talking gives you more words and expressions to work with—and more opportunities to start putting them together in everyday conversations.

You’ll learn how to talk about the things you like and don’t like, what you enjoy doing, and even what the weather is like. You’ll also pick up useful language for shopping for clothes and talking about how something fits, as well as the basics of talking about your body, including saying where something hurts and navigating a simple doctor’s visit. Through conversation, role-plays and activities, you’ll have plenty of chances to put your new language to use.

• Oct. 20 – Nov. 12

• Tuesdays and Thursdays

10 – 11:30 AM

$100 — materials included

What should I already know?
You should already be comfortable with basic greetings and introductions, numbers and some common everyday vocabulary, and be able to put together a few simple Spanish sentences.

We keep our classes small, and they’re taught by the one-and-only Alejandra Herrera! Alejandra is a certified Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher with extensive international teaching experience. She brings warmth, energy and plenty of experience to every class.
