Fiestas de Cuenca are almost here! And we have a little secret for surviving them…
We all know Cuenca Days are some of the most exciting days of the year. But between the crowds and the arts and crafts fairs that seem to multiply like rabbits, even the most enthusiastic feria-goer needs a break!
So, we’re offering a respite from the madness with our Feria Fatigue Refuge at IdiomARTE!
Come recharge, get creative, discover something new, or simply put your feet up for a while!
Saturday, October 31 – Monday, November 2 from 11 AM – 6 PM
Here’s the plan…
• Recharge station | 11 AM – 6 PM
Refuel with locally crafted beer on tap, artisan kombucha, and tasty treats like ceviche and empanadas. Find a comfy spot, take a load off, and give those feet a well-deserved rest before heading back into the festivities.
• Creative stations | 11 AM – 4 PM
Feeling crafty? Choose your own creative adventure! Embroider a holiday ornament, paint a ceramic plaque, paint a T-shirt or mini canvas, make your own jewelry, or get creative with handcrafted woodblock prints. Different projects, different prices — pick your favorite and give it a go!
• ART and HANDCRAFTS | 11 AM – 6 PM
Looking for something special to take home? Discover one-of-a-kind creations by local and international artists and artisans throughout the house. From handcrafted wooden pieces, clothing, ceramics, prints, and small-format artwork to honey, coffee, chocolate, wine, sketchbooks, and art kits, there’s plenty to explore.
Find something you love and support the artists and makers in the process!
