Hi everyone! I’m looking for a small apartment, mini-suite, studio, or 1 bedroom place to move into around October or November.
I currently work at Universidad Católica de Cuenca, and my commute is close to an hour, so I’m hoping to find something closer to work.
Preferred areas:
• Avenida de las Américas, preferably around Coral
• Ordóñez Lasso, ideally closer to Oro Verde
• I’m also open to nearby areas if the commute is reasonable
Important: I have one cat, so the apartment must be pet friendly.
What I’m looking for:
• No humidity or mold problems
• Cooktop / stove
• Refrigerator
• Preferably a washing machine, although a dryer is not necessary
• Ideally unfurnished
• Parking space, safe street parking, or an affordable parking lot nearby
Budget: maximum $250/month. Utilities and WiFi can be included or separate.
I know my budget is on the lower end, but after spending a lot of time looking through FaceBook Marketplace and seeing how high prices have gotten, I thought I’d try asking here in case someone knows of a place, has something becoming available soon, or knows an owner renting directly.
I’m not looking to move immediately, so I have some flexibility and can plan ahead for October or November.
