The Grace Foundation would like to thank everyone who supported the earthquake survivors of Venezuela at our fundraiser last Friday at La Guarida. we were able to raise almost $2,000, of which $1,000 was immediately sent to a team on the ground, involved in helping survivors. A special thanks goes out to wonderful Venezuelan, Ecuadorian and Argentinian musicians who provided us with a spirit of Venezuela that helped people feel a need to donate. Hector and Mariangel, Madriana Farachi, Mera de Portoviejo and Dani Navarrete, Luigi Guerra, Judas y Diego, Lis Gómez, Reggie Fajardo, Jorge Luis and Jess. In addition to sponsoring the La Guarida also provided dinner to all of the musicians. Thank you Andres.
During the fundraiser, Grace was able to have a live interview with one of the teams who are providing a variety of services to the 18,000 plus homeless survivors, many who have not received any care from the international groups. Grace, at this time is only transferring money to our know people on the ground, avoiding costly fees and the risk of money or goods going to people not involved with the earthquake.
On this coming Saturday morning, Grace will be raising money for Venezuela at the Flora Caffe feria, at Garcilaso de la Vega y Primaro de Mayo. Grace will also be selling the world’s best vanilla beans and vanilla powder. The proceeds will also go to Venezuela.
