Cuenca Car Share, in support of the Cuenca Foundation, presents the movie “Moana” In English with Spanish subtitles.
Many of you have requested Moana – a science fiction movie based in Hawaii. It is coming to Cuenca on July 25 as our Saturday at the Movies showing. Moana will be shown at the Millennium Plaza on Saturday, July 25 at 10 AM.
Moana is based on Disney’s 2016 film but this is a live action thriller, not an animated version. Moana leaves her home island and goes out to save her people and her culture. Aided by Maui, a demigod, she goes forth to rescue and restore her community. The Polynesian community is depicted in music and dance, revealing and restoring many cultural ties.
Remember, the Cuenca Foundation supports the needy. If you wish to make an additional donation, either at the door or by other means, please let us know that it is for the Cuenca Foundation. you could note that too. Just a thought – a $9 ticket with a donation means you don’t have to deal with “monedas” at the door. 100% of donations are given directly to the Cuenca Foundation.
Tickets are $9 and can be ordered in advance, purchased at Coffee Lovers, or paid at the door.
Tickets will be available at Coffee Lovers on Gran Colombia 5-09 y Mariano Cueva every day.
Alternatively, you can pay on the day of the movie.
