Let’s start with a visit to the Museo de la Gastronomia, which is about more than just food. There, you will discover the treasures this place has to offer, including a huge house-museum dedicated to Ecuador and its customs, a café-restaurant, a large garage filled with antiques, beautiful natural surroundings, animals…
We will then visit Maria in her shop, where she sells kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha, and apple cider vinegar—all made naturally by her. She also sells all kinds of natural bulk foods, at very good prices!
Just a few steps away, we will visit Rocío and Eduardo’s charming home. They are true antique enthusiasts who spend their time hunting down treasures to resell. you can even ask them to find a specific item for you. They also have many plants for sale.
Next, I will take you to Andrés’ bakery, where he and his family bake sourdough bread as well as other treats.
We will wrap up by exploring a newly created area filled with cafés and restaurants (Peruvian, Argentine, Mexican, Italian, etc.). you can have lunch at the restaurant of your choice and end your meal on a sweet note with the incredible pastries from Panasia (French and Asian desserts). Your meal is not included in the tour price.
