A professional family in Nassau is seeking an experienced, caring, and highly organized live-in bilingual nanny and household manager to join our family on a long-term basis.
We have two children—a 9-month-old infant and a 10-year-old—and are looking for someone who is passionate about childcare, household organization, and early childhood development. Our goal is to provide our infant with daily Spanish language immersion, so fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Responsibilities include:
• Loving care and supervision of our infant and school-aged child
• Speaking Spanish with our infant throughout the day
• Assisting with homework and after-school routines
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Household laundry, light housekeeping, organization, and maintaining a clean home
• Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
• Safely driving the children to school, appointments, and activities as needed
Qualifications:
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Native Spanish speaker preferred (qualified applicants from all Spanish-speaking countries are welcome)
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience caring for infants and children
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Clean police record
• Excellent references
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
• Honest, dependable, organized, patient, and non-smoker
