If you are looking for a church here in Cuenca where All are Welcome, with no exceptions, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Mission invites you to join us for a special Pride Sunday Worship Service. At St. Christopher’s we like to say all are welcome and that certainly means you!
We are aware that in the past, Christian churches have not been as welcoming for the LGBTQ+ community as we might have wished. However, that doesn’t have to be the case today! And it certainly doesn’t reflect the teachings of Jesus, who was a rebellious reformer in his day.
St. Christopher’s Episcopal Mission is an inclusive, multicultural, bilingual, and multi-generational worship community, with joyful, friendly members who are committed to social justice and helping others. you would certainly feel at home with our LGBTQ+ members who fill many key roles within our congregation.
St. Christopher’s LGBTQ+ members and our straight allies marched in support of “Equality for All” in the past two Cuenca’s Gay Pride Parades and will be marching again this year on July 4th. we were the first and so far the only Christian church represented at Cuenca’s Pride parade.
We would be delighted to have you join us next Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. you will find us at: Bartolomé de las Casas #5-34 y Tirso de you are looking for a church here in Cuenca where ALL are Welcome, with no exceptions, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Mission invites you to join us for a special Pride Sunday Worship Service.
