Many people live with corns and calluses for years, thinking they’re just a normal part of life. While they’re very common, they can become painful and make walking uncomfortable.
They usually develop because of the shape of our bones, the way we walk, pressure points, footwear, or foot deformities. Unfortunately, there is no permanent cure, but regular care every 3–4 weeks can help keep them comfortable and prevent them from becoming more painful.
As a podocosmetologist, one of the things I enjoy most is helping people walk more comfortably and feel better in their everyday lives.
A Clinical Pedicure may include:
• Anatomical nail trimming
• Reduction of corns, calluses, and hyperkeratosis
Depending on the needs of each foot, it may also include:
• Care for fungal nails (onychomycosis – referral if necessary)
• Non-surgical ingrown toenail care
• Treatment of onychophosis
Other services available:
• Cosmetic Pedicures
• Manicures
• Gel Nail Extensions
• Lash Lifts
• Brow Lamination
Appointments are available at my private studio in Cuenca’s Historic Center or through my mobile home service.
