Hey GringoPost folks,
If you’re ever on Isabela Island, Galapagos, you’ve got to check out El Capitol restaurant. I just ate there three days in a row because it’s honestly that good.
Here’s a quick rundown of why I love it:
• One. The vegetarian menu actually has a ton of genuinely tasty options.
• Two. The prices are super reasonable, which is a minor miracle for the Galapagos.
• Three. They offer amazingly fresh lunch and dinner specials for only 10 bucks.
• Four. The seaside dining terrace is the absolute best part.
You can just sit there sipping your coffee and watch hundreds of marine iguanas basking in the sun and waddling down to the ocean for their own meals. As someone who spends a lot of time around these little guys, I can promise you the view never gets old. It’s basically dinner and a free wildlife show, island style.
Definitely add it to your must-do list.
