Cuenca to Machala van service

Hi.

I am hearing stories that the bus trip from Cuenca to Machala is now 6 hours because of a landslide last week. The buses need to take a much longer route that goes in the direction of Guayaquil.

Is there a van service that goes to Machala that might take a shorter route?

We're planning a trip to Machala today. We just called the Azuay bus service. They say service is back to normal - 3-to-4-hour trip. 0 0
