The teacher Nicolás Krauze and the violinist, Santy April, will be the protagonists of the season concert offered by the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra

The Ministry of Culture and Heritage through the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra, with the French orchestra: Nicolas Krauze, with the participation of Ecuadorian violinist Santy April, this Friday, April 29 at 8 PM, at the Pumapungo Theater.
This concert includes a repertoire that demands virtuosity to the soloist, experience to the director and a mature orchestra: Concerto for violin No. 5 of Henri Vieuxtemps, Introduction and Capricioso Rondico of Camille Saint-Saëns, and Symphony No. 4 of Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovski are the works that will be interpreted.
Nicolas Krauze, French Symphony Orchestra director has carried out most of his musical studies in the United States, France and Russia. He studied at the Tchaikovski Conservatory and at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow with great teachers. He enjoys an international race with more than 50 concerts every season worldwide. He directs with a deep vision of music, extraordinary technical skills and an excellent relationship with the musicians with whom he works. His charisma helps him project his musical ideas immediately to the public.
Santy Abril, Ecuadorian violinist, owner of a demanding and long formation. In his career he has participated in innumerable concerts, festivals and competitions that have led him to stand out in countries such as: United States, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Germany, Australia and Ecuador. He develops his solo career, camera music artist, violinist of several Ecuadorian groups, concertin of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador and a violin professor at the Central University of Ecuador. He settled in Quito in 2006 where he trained as a violinist and integral artist with the teacher Leonid Greco. He graduated with honors of the National Conservatory of Music of Quito and the Technical University of Manabí. In 2010 he won a complete scholarship to study high professional training at the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music (Madrid). Subsequently he obtained a master’s degree in musical research from the International University of La Rioja.
The entrance to the concert is free until capacity is filled.
