A note from Jenny

Hello, my name is Jenny. An expat friend suggested I share this message here and helped me translate it.

I live just outside of Cuenca, in Santa Ana. I’m a single mother of three. To support my children—and to help care for the many stray animals in our community—I sell affordable secondhand items such as clothing, jackets, shoes, luggage, bedding, electronics, and small household goods on the street outside Feria Libre next to the Tia and Titan stores.

If you have any items you no longer need and are willing to help, I would be deeply grateful.

For your convenience, I travel by bus to pick up donations (typically about a one-hour trip from Santa Ana). you are also very welcome to bring items directly to me at Feria Libre. I can send you a map, or a GPS location of where I’m standing that day. I don’t speak English, but I use a translation app to communicate. My WhatsApp number is 593 95 995 8110.

I am always on the sidewalk outside Feria Libre on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6 AM to 6 PM if you prefer to drop items off there.

Thank you very much for your kindness and support. I’m happy for the diversity you bring to my country.

Blessings,
Jenny
