Pizza Week Cuenca, 2026 is the city’s first-ever event dedicated entirely to pizza. From December 1-14, 18+ restaurants across Cuenca will each launch one exclusive pizza, not on their regular menu, at a fixed price of $9, any payment method accepted. Try one pizza or try them all: upload your receipt on our website and rate each pizza 1 to 5 stars. When the event ends, the highest-rated pizza wins, and the top three restaurants take home real trophies.
There is also a public Instagram photo contest with a $50 gift card prize per restaurant. The event ties into Cuenca’s recent recognition as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy and South America’s first World Food Capital.
