Frozen JEP CD

Requiring an unexpected surgery, I asked JEP to release some funds from the CD I have there before it’s maturity date. They said no, “we don’t do that anymore.”

Any suggestions here as to any possible way around this wall?

The C.D is transferrable. Sell it to someone else. Depending on the details of your C.D. you may have to accept less than face value for it. 1 0

They will not release the money before the due date. You can try asking them for a loan and using the CD as collateral. 2 0
