About Our Artists / Aura String QuartetJorge Fernández (violin): violinist from Guayaquil with an outstanding artistic career, he has received multiple awards in prestigious violin competitions. He was concertmaster of Guayaquil Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra. He currently works as a violin professor in the Musical Arts program at the University of Cuenca.Jhomayra Cevallos (violin): violinist from Cuenca with an extensive national and international career in classical music, tango, and folklore. She was concertmaster in the Kortrijk Symfonisch Orkest in Belgium and currently works as Principal Violin at the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra.Santiago Paccha (viola): violinist/violist from Cuenca, he served for several years as concertmaster of the University of Cuenca Symphony Orchestra. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous national and international music festivals. He currently serves in the first violin section of the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra.Moisés Pauta (cello): Ecuadorian cellist with a national and international career in traditional popular music, orchestral performance, chamber music, and solo repertoire. He performs regularly in chamber music concerts and is currently Principal Cellist of the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra.
