Cuenca, once again, you’ve shown what community truly means. Time and time again, you’ve stepped in with open hearts to help beloved dogs through life’s hardest transitions. Today, we introduce a girl who embodies grace, gentleness, and quiet love.
Meet Magnificent Millie.
If you’ve ever adored those classic Hush Puppies—with their long ears and soulful charm—you’re already halfway in love. Millie is a beautiful hound girl with those signature, melting eyes, the kind that seem to understand you before you say a word.
But Millie is more than her looks; she is heart.
At approximately 10 years young, Millie has spent her life as part of a family. In moments like these, when circumstances change, moving into a shelter environment would be overwhelming for a dog like her. That’s why finding her a loving home now is so important.
Here’s what makes Millie so special:
- A social butterfly – she gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. She’s already mastered the art of sharing her space and her love.
- House-trained and easygoing – she knows the rhythms of home life and fits right in.
- Gentle and well-adjusted – a calm, adaptable spirit who thrives in companionship.
- Low maintenance – no special diet, just a good appetite and a little gum care.
- A true “Velcro dog” – like many hounds, Millie will happily stay close by your side, offering quiet loyalty and constant affection.
Basset-type hounds are known for their deep devotion. They don’t just live in your home—they become part of your soul. Millie is one of those rare dogs who doesn’t need to prove anything; she is love.
She’s not asking for much—just a soft place to land, a family to lean into, and someone who sees the beauty in a senior dog whose best gift is her presence.
Imagine slow mornings, a loyal companion by your side, and those soulful eyes looking up at you with gratitude every single day.
Let’s give Magnificent Millie the happy next chapter she deserves.
If you feel that pull in your heart, please reach out to FAAN to meet Millie.
