Hello, Cuenca community! I’m Darío Bueno Escobar, a piano teacher with 20 years of experience. I started giving private lessons, taught at the conservatory, and have instructed at the University of Cuenca’s Faculty of Arts. I hold a bachelor’s in piano and a master’s in music pedagogy from the University of Cuenca.
My students have won national and international piano competitions, and I’ve studied under international masters from Korea, Cuba, Ecuador, and Canada. I offer personalized lessons for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students—perfect for expats seeking high-quality instruction.
Format: In-person at my studio in Mall del Racar (or at your home in Cuenca) or online via Zoom.
Duration: 45-60 minute classes, 1-2 times per week.
Focus: Specialist in classical piano, musical language, piano initiation for children, and Ecuadorian music, with an emphasis on fun, technique, and quick progress. Basic materials included!
Prices: $20-30 per hour depending on level (monthly packages with 10-15% discount). Flexible schedules, including weekends!
