Tuesday, August 11.
8:30 AM at La Yunta where our chef will cook us a traditional breakfast from Cuenca called Huevos al jugo which is boiled free-range eggs with a rich beef and tomato sauce, served with bread, fresh fruit, and tea or coffee.
After breakfast we start our trip to the fantastic Busa lake. we will have a stop on the way to visit Victoria del Portete.
At Busa lake we are going to enjoy a nice easy walk around the lake ( mostly flat just a few steps on the way ) in the tranquility of the forest, the water and the mountain.
Then we will drive back to the magic Giron Waterfall (El Chorro de Giron). This very magnificent waterfall is going to impress us with the beauty of nature, nice walk (a bit of hill so maybe not good for every one), but if you can’t go up, it is a nice restaurant called La Loma where you can sit down and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Here we are going to have lunch and, let me tell you that the best trout is cooked here.
The options for lunch are:
- Smoked river trout with potatoes and salad
2. Chicken fillet, potatoes and salad
Kefir ice cream

The cost for the day all inclusive is $50 pp, (Breakfast, lunch, transport, entrance fee to Busa Lake and Waterfall, tour guide)
