Full Bici – is a summer camp that benefits young children ages 2-5 yrs. we specialize in bringing bicycles and helmets, teaching and training to children in the impoverished outlying communities around Cuenca.
Over the years of working with bicycles and children, I have come to realize just how much cycling benefits children in various ways. To name a few: self-esteem, physical health, emotional control, mental and emotional balance, concentration, overcoming challenges, opening up a world of athletic possibilities, happiness…
For these reasons, we invite you to support the Summer Camp for Rural Communities in Azuay project.
The plan is to bring Biking Summer Camp 2026 to at least 8 rural communities (20 children/community) this summer between July and August, potentially benefiting up to 160 children.
Next year we’d like to extend our reach to more children, but we need your help…
You can donate in two ways: volunteering and/or donating.
Your contribution will bring great joy to children in rural communities with limited resources. Your donations will go towards providing a free bicycle and helmet to a young person.
We already work with one bike shop to get a deep discount on the purchase of the bicycles and helmets. we are trying to expand that.
For the peace of mind of all our sponsors/donators, all expenses will be accounted for and reported weekly to the project. The activities are streamed on Facebook Live, so you can be sure that your contribution has the intended impact on the children.
