Learn practical, real-life Spanish, build confidence for everyday situations, and connect through culture, conversation, and community. At Vamos, communication comes first—through practical language, small groups, and hands-on cultural activities that help you use Spanish confidently in your everyday life in Cuenca.
We’re now enrolling for Spanish courses starting May 18/19 and May 25/26, available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Our small group classes (maximum 5 students) follow a relaxed but steady pace, with sessions held twice a week, two hours each day, over five weeks (20 total hours). An initial level assessment ensures you’re placed in the right group. Courses are specially designed for students over 50 (but not exclusively), with a strong focus on listening and speaking skills.
Course fee: $150 — includes a workbook and access to three cultural activities every other Friday (Ecuadorian cooking, fruit tasting, guided walks, dance, film screenings).

Upper beginners: Tue and Thu 2 – 4 PM starting on May 19

Intermediate 3: Tue and Thu 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM starting on May 26
Intermediate 4: Mon and Wed 2 – 4 PM starting on May 18
Upper-intermediate: Wed 3:30 – 5:30 PM and Fri 2 – 4 PM starting on May 20
Advanced: Mon and Wed 1:30 – 3:30 PM starting on May 18
