How to call USA phone (not WhatsApp) numbers from Ecuador?

Hello Friends:

I need to call banks and government offices in USA from Ecuador. What’s the best and the most economical way to call USA from Ecuador?

Thank you

Jay

I recommend MagicApp, which gives you a U.S. number that can be used anywhere in the world for $3.99/month, and includes SMS texting, and unlimited calling. Note: it does not support receipt of bank codes. 1 0

App called yolla. Been using it for years. Great for voice and text. Call any number anywhere. Rates per country varies. US is a penny a minute, pay as you go, no monthly fees, time rolls over month to month. Costs me about 8 dollars per year. Yes per year. 0 0

Since you are obviously still in the U.S. your best option is to get a free Google Voice account before you leave. 1 0

You also need to have your bank cards authorized for use in Ecuador. If you don't do that they won't work here and "could" even trigger a fraud alert that kills the card. 1 0

I use an app called, Text Free. It isn’t free, I pay about $70 per year for unlimited calls and texts to/from the US. All my banking and other 2FA codes come via the app. 0 0
