Join us for an exciting journey with our brand-new program, Survival Spanish: Navigating Cuenca and Beyond, starting next week! If you’re eager to elevate your language skills and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Cuenca, now is the perfect time to sign up.
This course emphasizes practical language skills that encompass essential vocabulary and grammar, equipping you to navigate everyday life with confidence. Whether you’re shopping at the local market, asking for directions, or managing daily tasks, this program will empower you to engage effectively in real-world scenarios.
This approach to language learning ensures that you not only understand Spanish, but also build the confidence to use it in practical, real-world situations. The program extends beyond the classroom, immersing you in activities and experiences that reinforce what you’re learning. You’ll also have the chance to meet guest speakers and artists at idiomART who will share valuable insights into Cuenca’s culture, history, and more.
The course is structured in 6-week modules with 2-week breaks, allowing you to progress steadily from basic vocabulary to functional conversational fluency. Each module includes 18 hours of interactive lessons, alongside excursions and special activities to apply what you’ve learned in real-life settings.
Class Schedule and Additional Information:
• A1 (beginner): Tuesdays and Thursdays: 11:30 AM – 1 PM
• A2 (advanced beginner): Tuesdays and Thursdays: 4 – 5:30 PM
• B1 (Intermediate): Wednesdays and Fridays: 11:30 AM – 1 PM

– Class Frequency: Classes meet twice a week for 1.5 hours.
– Breaks: Each class includes a short break to stretch, enjoy a coffee, and perhaps chat with an artist in their studio at idiomART.
– Placement Exam: To help determine your level, we’ll send you a brief placement exam.
