Hello community. My daughter is coming to Cuenca for a short visit. She is a vegan/vegetarian but I am not. Can anyone recommend their favorite vegan/vegetarian restaurants?

My three favorite restaurants are Nandala, Yua and Comer Sanar Vivir. These are all on Google Maps so you can see where they are located and read reviews. There is also a website called Happy Cow dot com that has a current list of vegetarian restaurants all around the world... Read more 0 0
Doug: my wife is vegetarian and loves the selection at Nuevo Paraiso, which has several branches. I also enjoy their food. Great almuerzos and pizza. All vegetarian. 0 0
I think most restaurants can and would be happy to accommodate vegetarians - vegan is a whole ‘nother ball game. 0 0
Nandala is our favorite place. They have a nice selection of items -- all vegan. Prices are reasonable, service is great, and I think their french fries are the best we've ever had. 0 0

We love Good Affinity. Great lunch. Open everyday ( except Sunday) 11:30am - 3:30pm. Meal of the day for $3.50. Give it a try before she arrives. Even non-stop vegetarians like it. They are located on Gran Colombia, one block from the roundabout at Las Americas. 0 0
