If reading the whole article isn't appealing despite not having a paywall, here are a few key take-aways. "The efficacy data of about 50% is for very mild disease, requiring no treatment. I'll take Sinovac in a New York minute if that's what's offered. Why? Mostly because I live in Ecuador, that's why. And not some "entitled" gringo who thinks they're special.. Sinovac in Chile: 67% effective in preventing symptomatic infection 85% effective in preventing hospitalizations 80% effective in preventing deaths https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/chinas-sinovac-covid-19-vaccine-67-effective-preventing-symptomatic-infection-2021-04-16/ 0 0

Chili's Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs( trade), Rodrigo Yáñezis, is rather incentivized to release such positive reports, in his efforts to woo Chinese trade with his country. Sometimes trust can be rather naively placed. 0 0

Your "Good information on Sinovac" is dated. This is the latest. China’s Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine 67% effective in preventing symptomatic infection - Chile govt report. https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/chinas-sinovac-covid-19-vaccine-67-effective-preventing-symptomatic-infection-2021-04-16/ 0 0
