Audible just released the audiobook version of my new book, ¡Cuenca Eats!, a labor of love that took me about three years to write (after even more research). As the author, Audible provided me with a few dozen free copies of the audiobook version to give away to anyone willing to listen to at least the first half (which covers traditional Ecuadorian cuisine) and leave a review on Audible.
This is a niche book so reviews of the print and audio versions are a big help to me to get the word out to those who are traveling here for a vacation (both gringos and Ecuadorians alike) or who are thinking of a more permanent move.
If you’re interested and like Ecuadorian food (and I realize many on this forum have strong opinions about the food they like), click on the “Send a Message” button and I’ll happily send out a link and coupon code for one of the free versions until they’re all gone.
For those who already got a copy of the print version (available at Carolina Bookstore on Hermano Miguel in El Centro), a heartfelt sincere thanks for supporting my efforts. I self-funded and self-published this book, my third, and had a lot of fun creating it. The audiobook version is narrated by a Mexican-born American with a great accent. It’s also his first major narration, and I chose him partly to support his career as well.
Warm regards to all,
James (the author)
